In the absense of having anything else much to say, I’m going to show off the cool loot i got from all my great friends for my birthday (and make the follow-up watermelon festival post tomorrow). My sweet boyfriend gave me the prisoner box set, a pair of cool earth shoes, a t-shirt, and some earrings (and took me out for an amazing dinner & made ice cream cone cupcakes for me). I also got cash from Mom & Dad, the 12 Monkeys DVD (I love you Terry Gilliam)+ a mystery book from Rich (it hasn’t yet arrived), and my totally awesome co-worker Shannon gave me a cool book of Southern recipes and Tales.
