Why is recycling these things important?
–Over 400 million cartridges with a combined weight of 200 million pounds are discarded into landfills each year.
–A laser cartridge discarded today will take over 1000 years to decompose.
–Manufacturing a new laser cartridge typically requires 3.5 quarts of oil; re-manufactured laser cartridge only uses 1.5 quarts of oil.
