I like to knit. It’s an easy way for me to be “productive” while vegging out and watching my Netflix or Blockbuster rentals. If I’m knitting, I’m working. The more I work, the better I feel about my otherwise still very college-like life. That said, I’m not a very good knitter. I’ve got the basic stitches down, but my precision is low. I also take long breaks between projects (I haven’t done much knitting since last winter). Now that I’m fully in the throes of the Christmas gift-making season, I’ve been having to refresh my memory of the knitting stitches. Books are fine for this task, but figuring out the monochrome diagrams of yarn & needles takes an awful lot of concentration. I prefer videos; that’s where KnittingHelp.com comes in. This site has great videos of beginning & advanced knitting techniques in both the Continental & English styles. I’ve been there a lot lately. Anyone looking to learn or improve their technique can benefit from this site.
